Single Order Picking

There are 2 types of picking where the picker have the ability to pick, pack, and dispatch the order. Order picking is a process that can be done once orders are received via Sales Channel or via manual upload and this action can be performed using Omniful App (Hub Operation App)


A. Single order picking: is a type of picking where orders are fulfilled by manually picking only one item

B. Multi order picking: is a type of picking where the method of zone picking can be useful here.



A. Single Order Picking


1. Click on Picking




2. Select Single order




3. If no orders that have only one item available in queue, then the following message will appear. If orders with single item is available in queue, picker can swipe and start picking



4. Scan the location of the item



5. Scan the item's barcode



6. Once finished, the following message will appear.

 



NOTE: Picker's task is done here using the app. Now, using the dashboard, user inspect the item, pack, and dispatch


7. Click on Orders from the left-hand menu, then click on Live Orders



8. Click on Ready to Pack



9. Scan the barcode of the item, then this page will appear. After inspecting the item, scan the barcode again.



10. Click on Confirm Packing



11. Choose if order will be manually dispatch (click&collect, have your own fleet, etc) or if it's via Delivery company (NOTE: to use this option, you first have to connect and activate the delivery company)
